Good news! I woke up this morning and found a box of frozen feta! I already had baked figs stuffed with feta.. yummm! Now I'm looking up other recipes..

FOREVER NEW
Yes! Forever New is one of my favourite stores. But that's not what this post about.
It's about my new avatar- JAN. Now, that's hardly a name!
I associate January with freshness. I'm not talking about panzy kind- like the fresh kiss of morning air when you open the window. nor the delish smell of fresh pizza from The Pizzeria that has driven me to break almost every diet I've begun. Hmm.. far from panzy that sounds rather good...- What I mean is that every year on the 1st, I excitedly open the newspaper to check my horoscope for the new year. There's a feeling of hope and newness. My resolutions are so easy to keep. i want to hold on to that newness of January. All the excitement and speculation of a new year. I intend of hurtling my body mind and soul through the space-time continuum and fixing myself in a state of jan all the way till December!
So.. to any readers of this blog- I present to you myself, in all the glory of my incomplete imperfection- every mole on my skin and every tooth in my grin. Jan may not be a spectacular name but its better than the others i brainstormed- like Jane (No. I'm not trying to find my Tarzan), Egg (I was just hungry.) J (I ain't know pothead), and others that were too deliberately ordinary.
So now Jan it is and Jan it stays =D
